Sorry it’s late.
If you’re following the comic on Facebook, you already know that I’m trying to match the demands of a new day job with the schedule I used to have for drawing the comic. Now that schedule is out the window, and I’m working on the comic whenever and wherever I get the chance, which meant in this case for some interesting adjustments.
The lettering is an amalgamation of previous lettering that I’ve done. Not quite a font, but still with the aesthetic of being hand drawn. The balloons are done in Photoshop and are the only area where I wish I could’ve hand drawn, but with the hand lettering, not that much of a distraction, I think. It would have been faster to hand letter, but that really wasn’t an option.
Storywise, the testimony that the defense is going to offer will be a really pivotal aspect to this part of the story. The ending is currently being fleshed out and there’ll be some foreshadowing starting in the next few strips to prepare you for the end.

*damm* I wrote a story about campfire tales on the moon. In this story, the hero of a couple of little girls (who became best friends forever) was Jenny Jetpack. Jenny was a syndicated program with the adventures of Jenny in space. Of course there was merchandise such as the Jenny jet pack sneakers, socks, pants, shirt, sweatshirt, jacket and even including the Jenny jet pack flight kit consisting of thrusters for both arms, both legs, and the main thruster off the back (think Buck Rogers). I am *so* disappointed the name was taken. Now I need to come up with another name for space traveling hero for the 9 to 15 demographic.
I guess, all I can do subscribe to your cool comic.
