The last panel in the one holds a lot of visual information. See how many times you can find the number “01.” The curly haired guy getting the brush-off is modeled after Jan Arrah of the Legion of Super-Heroes, while the shorter woman looking very pissed behind him is modeled after Marvel Comics’ Viper. The tall woman isn’t modeled after anyone in particular.

When I started to ink the last panel, I realized I was making a mistake and spelling the name of the club in the reflection as it would appear looking straight on. It then dawned on me that I was doing a reflection. Instead of redrawing the panel, I went with option B and added a little negative space on the club’s sign.

Someday, I’m gonna build a model of these flying cars.
